- 1 cup Bottle gourd cut into small pieces
- pinch Ajwain carom seeds
- pinch Jeera powder cumin powder
- 3 tsp Dal lentils
- 3 tsp rice
- pinch Turmeric
- pinch Pepper powder
- 1 tsp Coriander leaves chopped
- 2 tsp Tomato chopped
- 150 ml water
Rinse and soak dal and rice for 30 minutes.
Drain the water.
Combine dal, rice, bottle gourd, spices, and tomatoes.
Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
Mash the khichdi.
Add ghee before serving.
