
Rice & Moong Dal Porridge
This recipe is a nutritious and delicious Rice & Moong Dal Porridge specially prepared for kids. It is a wholesome meal that combines the goodness of rice, moong dal, and aromatic spices. This porridge is easy to digest and provides essential nutrients for your child's growth and development.
Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Rice
- 1 tbsp Moong Dal
- pinch Cumin seeds
- 1.5 cup Water
- ¼ tsp Ghee
Instructions
- Dry roast 2 tbsp rice and 1 tbsp moong dal until the dal turns golden brown.
- Add a pinch of cumin seeds and stir. Switch off the flame.
- Grind the roasted ingredients into a fine powder for the porridge.
- In a saucepan, mix the powder with 1/4 tsp ghee and 1.5 cups of water.
- Cook on low flame for 5-8 minutes until the rice and dal are fully cooked.
- Let it cool down before feeding your baby the Rice & Moong Dal Porridge.
