Ingredients
- 2 cup Ragi Finger Millet Flour
- ½ Cup Almonds
- ½ Cup cashew
- 5 Tbsp Pistachios
- ¼ Tsp Saffron Strands
- ¼ Tsp Cardamom
- ¼ Cup Jaggery
Instructions
- In a pan, dry roast the ragi flour (2 cup Ragi) over low flame for 5 minutes until it turns fragrant and slightly golden. Set it aside to cool.
- Wash and thoroughly dry the 1/2 Cup Almonds, 1/2 Cup cashew, and 5 Tbsp Pistachios. Allow them to dry completely in the sun.
- In the same pan, dry roast each dry fruit separately over low flame until they turn crunchy and lightly golden. Keep them aside to cool.
- Using a blender, blend the 1/4 Cup Jaggery until it becomes smooth and sieve it to remove any lumps.
- Add the roasted dry fruits, along with1/4 Tsp Cardamom and 1/4 Tsp Saffron Strands, to the blender with the jaggery. Grind everything together until you get a fine powder.
- Transfer the Ragi Malt Powder to an airtight container for storage.
