
Steamed Beetroot Idli
The beetroot not only adds a beautiful hue to the idlis but also provides additional nutrients. These idlis are steamed to perfection, making them light, healthy, and easily digestible.
Ingredients
- 1 Beetroot medium-sized
- 1 Idli batter without salt – 1 ladle
Instructions
- Steaming and Blending the 1 Beetroot.
- Steam the beetroot for 15 minutes until tender.
- Blend the steamed beetroot into a fine paste.
- Add the beetroot puree to 1 ladle of idli batter.
- Mix the beetroot puree well with the idli batter.
- Steam the idli batter. Once cooked, allow the idli to cool slightly.
- Cut the idli into kid-friendly pieces. and serve to your child.
