
Carrot Kichidi

Ingredients
- 2 tbsp Rice
- 2 tbsp Moong Dal split yellow lentils
- 1 Garlic clove
- ¼ tsp Cumin seeds
- ⅛ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ cup Grated Carrots grated
- 1 cup Water
- 2 tsp Ghee (clarified butter)
Instructions
- Soak 2 tbsp Rice and 2 tbsp Moong Dal together for 1 hour.
- Saute 1/4 tsp Cumin seeds, 1 Garlic clove, and 1/4 cup Grated Carrots in 2 tsp Ghee.
- Add soaked rice, moong dal, 1/8 tsp Turmeric powder, and mix well.
- Cook with 1 cup of water in a pressure cooker for 3-4 whistles.
- Mash, add a few drops of ghee, and serve.
