
Sabudana Vegetable Khichdi

Ingredients
- ½ cup Sabudana sago pearls
- 4 tsp Carrot chopped
- 2 tsp Potato chopped
- 2 tsp Onion chopped
- 2 tsp Green Peas frozen
- Cumin Seeds A few
- 1 tsp Ghee clarified butter
- pinch Turmeric Powder
- Mustard Seeds A few
- 1.5 cup Water
- 4 tsp Masoor Dal (red lentils)
Instructions
- Clean and soak the 1/2 cup Sabudana and2 tsp Green Peas (Masoor Dal) in water for 1 hour.
- In a pressure cooker, heat 1 tsp Ghee and Cumin Seeds (jeera) and Mustard Seeds. Saute well.
- Add the chopped vegetables and spices. Saute for a few minutes.
- Allow it to cook on simmer for 10 minutes.
- Add 1.5 cup Water and soaked sabudana. Mix well.
- Pressure cook for 3 whistles.
- Let it cool down before serving to your baby.
