
Annaprasana Recipe
This nutritious and wholesome recipe is perfect for introducing solid foods to your little one during their Annaprasana ceremony. Annaprasana, a significant milestone in a baby's life, marks the transition from a liquid diet to semi-solid foods. Ingredients
- ⅛ cup Rice
- ⅛ cup Moong dal
- 1 tsp Sabudana
- 1 Banana small ripe
- Ghee A few drops of
- 2.5 cup Water
- 2 tsp Breastmilk/formula milk optional
Instructions
- Thoroughly wash the 1/8 cup Rice, 1 tsp Sabudana, and 1/8 cup Moong dal. Then, soak them in water for 1 hour.
- In a pressure cooker, add the soaked rice, dal, and 2.5 cups of water. Close the lid and cook for 3 whistles. Allow the cooker to cool down.
- Transfer the cooked rice and dal to a blender. Add the ripe 1 Banana and, if desired, 2 tsp Breastmilk/formula milk. Blend the mixture until it reaches a smooth consistency.
- Finally, add a few drops of ghee to enhance the flavor. Your delicious Annaprasana recipe is now ready to be served during the ceremony.
