- 1 Apple Medium-sized
- Water Boiled
Instructions
- Select a fresh and sweet 1 Apple of your choice.
- Wash the apple thoroughly and peel the skin using a peeler or knife.
- Cut the apple into small slices or chunks.
- Place the apple slices in a pan and add enough water to completely cover them.
- Cook the apple chunks for approximately 10 minutes or until they are soft and tender.
- Mash or blend the steamed apples to achieve a smooth consistency.
- Gradually add some of the water used for steaming to adjust the texture of the puree according to your preference.
- Blend the mixture until smooth or runny, depending on your baby’s stage of food introduction.
- Transfer the apple puree into a serving bowl.
