
Pearl Millet Khichdi

Ingredients
- 1 tbsp Ghee
- 1 tsp Cumin Seeds
- Curry Leaves a few
- ½ cup Onion finely chopped
- ¼ cup Peas
- ½ cup Tomatoes finely chopped
- ½ tsp Turmeric powder
- ¼ tsp Pepper Powder
- 1 cup Bajra Dalia (pearl millet)
- ½ cup Moong Dal split yellow lentils
- 4.5 cup Water
- 1 tsp Lime Juice
Instructions
- Soak 1 cup Bajra Dalia and 1/2 cup Moong Dal overnight.
- Saute 1 tsp Cumin Seeds, Curry Leaves, 1/2 cup Onion, and 1/2 cup Tomatoes in 1 tbsp Ghee
- Add 1/2 tsp Turmeric and 1/4 tsp Pepper Powder, and mix.
- Drain soaked Bajra Dalia and Moong Dal, then add to the pressure cooker with water.
- Cook for 3 whistles, then naturally release pressure.
- Stir in1 tsp Lime Juice and serve warm.
